TO celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, a ‘Great British Tea Party’ was held on Sunday, May 7, in the community of Maesmynis.
The event combined with the annual Maesmynis Sports Day, held on the field adjoining Maesmynis Hall by permission of Mr and Mrs P Hill.
It was organised by the sports committee in the community, near Builth Wells, who provided a delicious free buffet of home-made food and refreshments for all.
After the races, games and competitions, a commemorative coronation medal was given to all the children as a keepsake.
A thoroughly enjoyable time was had by all and thanks go to everyone involved in the celebrations, and making it a truly memorable day.
