AFTER the triumph of their cake stall last year, three cousins decided to bake once more and raise money for charity during their Easter break.
After attending the Wales Young Farmers Clubs Entertainment Festival, Ellen Nicholls, 12, who is a Cantal YFC member, and her cousin Henry Davies, 10, a member of Pontfaen YFC, were inspired by the announcement that Wales YFC chairman, Hefin Evans, is taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge on August 12.
Henry pledged to join the climb to conquer the final peak, Pen Y Fan, and raise funds for the Wales Air Ambulance and Diabetes UK.

Joined by younger cousin Amelia Davies, 9, the trio decided this was an excellent chance to help the charities and they set about creating posters to promote their cake stall and began cooking up some contributions to prepare their cakes.
They whipped up an assortment of delights, including biscoff, chocolate orange and lemon muffins, rocky road, Easter nests, tray bakes and chocolate cake.
County vice chairman Raiff Devlin purchased some cakes from the aspiring young cooks, who once again set up shop in the alley between the Strand Café and the White Horse, in Builth.

Raiff said: “Great to see junior members of YFC giving their time to support two very special charities. Thank you for the delicious cakes and congratulations to you all for raising so much. Keep up the good work.”
They raised an outstanding £700 for the charities and would like to thank everyone who supported them.
They would especially like to thank Richard Vellacott, the Tesco community champion, from Llandrindod Wells, Stuart Williams, from the Brecon Road Co-op store in Builth Wells, as well as Castell Howell and Powys-based Sunny Side Eggs for their kind donations of ingredients to make their wonderful cakes.
