A special Ladies night will be held at Newtown Football Club to raise money for charity and a ground-breaking LGBT event.
The evening, which has been organised by the Welly and AW entertainments, will be holding a raffle, a disco as well as a headline performance from a yet to be announced drag artist.
Money raised from the evening will be donated to the Wales Air Ambulance and be put towards Welshpool’s first gay pride event.
The night will be kicking off at 7.30pm on Friday May 12 and is expected to run on “until late”.
Tickets for the event are £12 and can be purchased from either the Welly or from the football ground.
