Further work on the Cambrian Line is set to continue until early July.
The work announced today by Network Rail is set to continue into the summer. However unlike the work set to take place in May this is not expected to affect the service.
Earlier this month it was announced by Network Rail that the line between Shrewsbury and Machynlleth will be unavailable for a large part of May.

This is due to engineering works taking place on multiple spots on the line – meaning stops on this line will be served by a bus replacement service.

However this will not be the end of the work on the line with more renewal works set to place on various parts of the line up until July 7, however a spokesperson for Network Rail said this will not affect day to day services.

They said: "There is work along the Cambrian line this summer, as mentioned in our previous statement.
"However, the June and July dates will be overnight work and will not disrupt passenger services."
The line will be out of service Friday, May 5 to Monday, May 22 and passengers are being advised to check https://www.journeycheck.com/tfwrail/ during this time.
