A LLANFYLLIN man accused of drink driving is to return to court next month to enter a plea to the charge.
Arnold Abraham Parkes appeared at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 18, but did not enter any plea to a charge of drink driving a motorcycle in Meifod on March 30.
Parkes, 48, is accused of driving a Honda VRM motorcycle on the A495 with a reading of 64 micrograms of alcohol in his breath – the legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Acting for Parkes, of the Eagles Bistro, High Street, Llanfyllin, Rob Hanratty said his client might put forward a special reasons argument.
The case was adjourned and Parkes is due back in Welshpool on May 16.
