Ysgol Llanfyllin has been forced to close for the day as a result of an interruption to their water supply that has left it with no running water.
Staff and pupils at the school had to make alternative arrangements on Wednesday, April 19, as the school announced it would be closed for the day.
In a post to their Facebook page, Ysgol Llanfyllin said: “Due to a utility failure (no water supply) the school will be CLOSED to staff and pupils today.
“Where possible, staff will endeavour to provide online learning.”
The lack of water is the result of an interruption to the school's water supply in Bryngwyn, three miles from Llanfyllin, which has impacted the whole town .
In the meantime however, the school, has been left with no running water for toilet facilities or catering.
