FIREFIGHTERS were mobilised after a chimney fire near Welshpool.
On Saturday, April 1 at 8.40pm, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received a call reporting a chimney fire in Marton.
One fire engine was mobilised from Minsterley and SFRS assisted its colleagues in Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

It was a small fire and crews used small gear and chimney rods to dampen it down.
