NEWTOWN has produced yet another golfing international who will represent his country next month.
Rising Newtown golf star Isaac Jones has been called up to the Wales Under-16 team to play in the Quadrangular Challenge Matches in the Netherlands next month.
Fifteen-year-old Isaac, from Milford Road, Newtown, is a former junior captain at St Giles, Newtown, and will play in the Quadrangular match for Wales against, Scotland, Ireland and the Netherlands at Kenemer from April 4-6.
Isaac, who is a current member of Oswestry Golf Club, is a regular player for Shropshire Schoolboys.

He is the latest youngster from the Newtown club to gain international honours with Wales following fellow St Giles players Connor Jones and Connor Owen, who are currently playing in American universities.
Both took their first steps in the sport at their home course in Newtown.
Isaac is hoping his current success will help attract local sponsors to support his career.
