“Extremely dangerous” conditions caused by flooding has closed a road between two villages near Newtown.
An emergency road closure is in place on the B4368 between Abermule and the Llanmerewig junction because of the recent weather.
Powys County Council has asked motorists to avoid the area and take an alternative route via the Newtown Bypass.
Locally known as the Dingle, the narrow country road connects the villages and hamlets of Abermule, Hodley, Glanmule and Kerry.
