Two brothers accused of attacking a man outside a Powys pub will face trial this summer.
Martyn Rutter, 66, and younger sibling David, 62, each deny assaulting Alex Powell, causing him actual bodily harm, outside the Horse and Jockey pub in Knighton on February 12, 2022.
His Honour Judge R Twomlow fixed a five-day trial for the pair at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court starting on July 17.
Martyn Rutter, of Lehmweg, Lauenburg, Germany, and David Rutter, of Hazel Grove, Dinas Powys, near Cardiff were both told that they remain on unconditional bail to return to court in four months’ time.
