A POWYS man accused of stalking his former partner will face trial later this year.
Jamie Davies, 39, appeared at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on February 28 facing two charges relating to his ex-girlfriend.
They are stalking and sending a malicious communication. It is said that between February 10-27 this year, Davies stalked his victim by following her and delivering unwanted messages.
Davies is also accused of sending a malicious communication to her on December 22 last year, conveying a threat.
Davies, of Rhi yr Efail, Pontdolgoch, near Caersws, appeared in custody at the February 28 hearing, having been arrested in relation to the case against him the previous day.
Magistrates granted him conditional bail until his trial, which is due to take place in Welshpool on June 12.
