POWYS' own Eric Ramsay has been appinted the new assistant coach of the Welsh national team.
Manager Rob Page has announced two new additions to his backroom staff ahead of the UEFA EURO 2024 qualifying campaign getting underway this month.
Manchester United’s Ramsay, who was raised in Llanfyllin, will be joining the Cymru setup as assistant Coach, combining the role with his current work as a first team coach for Erik Ten Hag.
A UEFA Pro Licence coach, Ramsay started his coaching career at Swansea City before working at Shrewsbury Town and Chelsea prior to joining Manchester United.
Nick Davies will also be joining Rob Page’s setup as the new head of performance.

"Nick has a wealth of experience having been involved in top clubs and Eric is arguably one of the best young coaches in football at this moment in time.
"The changes give us an opportunity to build on our success, by drip feeding new players into the squad at the right times.
"Hopefully in the next 12 months we’ll then have the next batch of players to represent Wales at the top level.”
The team’s focus will now turn to the start of the UEFA EURO 2024 campaign later this month.
Wales will face Croatia in Split on Saturda, March 25 before welcoming Latvia to the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, March 28.
