A COURT has issued an arrest warrant for a Welshpool man after he failed to attend court to answer a charge of sexual assault.
Sebastian Rosiak, 41, is charged with sexual assault on a female, aged 16 or over in Welshpool on September 26 last year.
Rosiak, of Berriew Street, Welshpool, has now twice failed to attend court, after he was a no-show at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, February 28.

He had been due to initially appear on January 31 but failed to show, leaving magistrates to adjourn the case. They warned him that if he did not attend on the next occasion they would issue an arrest warrant.
Rosiak also faces another charge of criminal damage; it is said that on the same date he damaged a whisky bottle valued at £25.50 in Welshpool.
Magistrates issued a warrant without bail.
