The future of Churchstoke Village Hall will be discussed at a public meeting later next month.

The Churchstoke Recreation Association announced that they are looking to elect a new committee who can help continue to keep the hall running for community activities and entertainment in what it described as an “exciting new chapter”.

People are invited to join the Extraordinary General Meeting and discuss the hall’s future at 7.30pm on Monday, March 13.

Churchstoke Recreation Association (CRA) said: “We would like to thank the members of the current trustee management committee for all their hard work over the past three years, which has resulted in the revival of the Hall and the creation of many wonderful events.
