NEWTOWN Football Club youngster Haydn Lewis has joined English Football League side Shrewsbury Town.
The JD Cymru Premier club confirmed the teenager had joined the Shropshire club having progressed through their academy.
The under 15 age grade player hails from Clun in Shropshire and has been part of Newtown's academy for almost six years.

A club spokesman said: "He’s a powerful forward player with an eye for goal and an excellent attitude.
"Hadyn will now be working towards gaining a scholarship with Shrewsbury Town FC.
"Haydn has been with our academy for a number of seasons and we’re delighted to see him get this opportunity."
