A chef has been found not guilty of wounding a man and causing grievous bodily harm after an incident at a Welshpool pub and restaurant.
Jed Robertson, 28, was working at The Raven Inn when two people were reported injured at the pub on May 22 last year which police said at the time that one person was airlifted to hospital with “traumatic” injuries.
He was found not guilty of wounding with intent, and wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent against Zac Tipton following a trial at Mold Crown Court this week.
Robertson, of High Roads, South Shields, near Newcastle, had already pleaded guilty to assaulting the pub and restaurant’s owner David Laycock, causing actual bodily harm.
He will be sentenced for that offence on Wednesday, March 22.
