THE body of a male reported missing from a Powys village just before Christmas has been found in the River Wye, police have confirmed.
The man, in his 50s and believed to be from the Erwood area, was discovered in the Wye near the village on February 3.
“We can confirm that a body of a man was found in the River Wye at Erwood on February 3,” said Dyfed Powys Police in a statement released today (February 14).
“The man had been missing since December 20.”
Police said the matter has now been referred to the coroner.
