Judge Niclas Parry, overseeing the case, was told that Baah had appeared at both Maidstone and Mold courts, but it was not clear which had the relevant jurisdiction.
Judge Parry adjourned proceedings until Wednesday, March 15 with a venue of either Mold or Maidstone to be confirmed, and Baah will be sentenced.
He will also receive credit for changing his plea.
Baah, of Durban Road, Stratford, and Khoeseb, of Lawson Close, West Beckton, were both accused of deceiving the woman by using her bank card to withdraw £1,000 cash as well as attempting to buy a £250 John Lewis gift card and food worth £5.80 from Greggs in Welshpool, and to spend £12.89 in another shop in Broad Street on October 10, 2021.
The charges state that a NatWest debit card was stolen, that £250 was withdrawn from Tesco cash point in Welshpool, and three withdrawals were made from the Royal Bank of Scotland of the same value.
