A village on the Powys border can look forward to the delights of a brand new cafe.
Mark and Dawn Jones of Mochdre, near Newtown are the new owners of Chirbury Stores.
However it will also provide a place for people to rest and enjoy some food and drink, with the back room converted into a cafe, and a picnic area is also well on its way to being completed.
The new outside area will also offer cycling facilities which should be open for spring.
Mark was delighted with the business so far and had big hopes for the future.
He said: "We use local produce as much as possible and try and also sell them in the shop.
"We have put in an application to take over the post office so the community and passing trade can use these facilities six days a week if we are successful."

Mark added: "We cater for small private functions and have many plans for the business which will look forward to sharing with customers soon."
Dawn grew catering and has travelled the world working in the industry as well as owning her own catering business while Mark is a self employed carpenter and builder.
The couple wanted a new challenge.
Dawn said: "We look forward to sharing our adventures with you and welcoming all to Chirbury Cafe, Post Office and Stores soon.
"Many thanks to Jack Taverner, Powis Estates manager, for all his help and offering us the chance to take on the shop."
