A garden centre near the Powys border is shutting its doors and closing down after more than six years of business.

Camlan Garden Centre, Farm Shop and Caffi Bach, Dinas Mawddwy has announced that it will be closing down after one more weekend of sales.

The business is well-known in the area for specialising in Welsh produce including bread, pastries, meat, cheese, wines, beers, ciders and spirits at its farm shop and cafe, and for selling British grown plants, composts and gardening essentials in the garden centre.

OTHER NEWS:

A closing down sale continues on Saturday (February 4) and Sunday (February 5) from 11am and 4pm.

Camlan said: “We would like to thank all of our customers who have become friends over the past six and a half years, your support kept us going through some challenging times.

"Sadly the cost of living crisis and an extortionate increase in our energy costs have meant it’s not viable to keep going.”
