A nearly 120-year-old Powys solicitors firm is expanding its legal services in mid Wales after announcing it will be opening a new branch in Aberystwyth.
Richard George and Jenkins Solicitors, which has offices in Newtown and Llanidloes, will be opening the doors of its new base in Bridge Street on Wednesday, February 1.
"The goal at Richard George & Jenkins is to deliver an exceptional level of service to all clients and to make Legal Aid work accessible across Ceredigion," the firm said.

The firm was established in around 1904 and more than a century later continues to operate from its original office in High Street, Newtown. Richard George & Jenkins later opened another officer, in Llanidloes in 2018, with plans to expand its legal services across north Powys and Ceredigion by opening a branch in Aberystwyth.
Services on offer include Legal Aid for criminal and family matters, divorce, child contact, conveyancing, wills, lasting powers of attorney (LPAs), probate, civil litigation matters.
