- WARNING: Some people may find some details from today's hearing distressing.
- The trial of Alun Titford enters its ninth day at Mold Crown Court today (Friday, January 27).
- The 45-year-old, of Colwyn, Newtown, is accused of gross negligence manslaughter and causing or allowing the death of his teenage daughter, Kaylea.
- Yesterday the court heard from Dr Catherine Moore, a consultant community paediatrician, who said Kaylea should have had more support from agencies and her parents before she died in 2020. Earlier in the day, paediatric dermatology consultant Dr Lea Solman said the condition of the teenager's skin was the "most severe" she had ever seen.
