THIS motorist travelling through Powys this week somehow thought this load of hay bails was securely fastened, but got a rude awakening when they were immediately sanctioned by police.
Dyfed Powys Police’s Roads Policing Unit pulled the driver over on Tuesday near Crickhowell as part of a targeted effort monitoring drivers on the A40 in the south of Powys.

“Working alongside @DPPBrecon officers today checking vehicles travelling along the A40 near Crickhowell,” said the unit in a tweet.
“Vehicles stopped and examined and drivers reported for offences. 1 vehicle/trailer issued with an immediate prohibition, due it not being safe to be on the road.”
