Police officers rushed to a crash on the Welshpool bypass involving four cars last night (Wednesday).
Emergency services received reports of the collision between Welshpool and the Sarnybryncaled roundabout shortly after 5pm on January 11.
Dyfed-Powys Police released a statement saying: "We were called to a collision involving four cars on the A483 Welshpool bypass at shortly after 5pm yesterday (11 January). The road was cleared by 6.40pm."
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said their crews did not attend the incident.
It is unclear if there were any injuries at the scene.
There was also another multiple vehicle collision on the A483 on the outskirts of Newtown which closed the road for several hours causing heavy traffic on alternative routes in the area.
