RHAYADER Post Office has announced it will be running on reduced hours for the winter months.
The Post Office announced the changes on Sunday, which have come into effect this will and will last until March 31.
“Our opening hours will be reduced for the winter months. These hours also coincide with the Royal Mail last collection from our Post Office and external postal box (ie now 5pm each weekday evening),” said a post on social media.
New hours will be: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and Friday 1pm-5pm; Thursday closed; Saturday 9am-12.30pm.

“We very much hope that we will be supported in this adjustment, which will remain in place up to March 31,” continued the post.
“We will then decide on the best way forward for our business which provides vital postal, bill-paying and essential banking services to our community.
