LLANIDLOES Town slipped to a 2-1 defeat at home to Cefn Druids in JD Cymru North on Saturday.
Nick Grogan fired the Druids into a 12th minute lead but the Daffodils soon replied to level with Connor Bird on target.
However the Wrexham side regained the lead before the break through Joshua Roseberry-Beamond and there was no way back for the hosts.

Gytis Pivnickas also netted twice as Penparcau Reserves eased to a 3-0 win at Padarn United in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League with Chris Wilkins completing the scoring.
St Harmon sealed their place in the second round of the Pip Samuel Electrical Mid Wales League South Cup with a 3-2 win at home to Felindre.
Geraint Mathias, James Powell and a Bertie Jones own goal proved just enough for the Swifts with Arron Davies and Tom Griffiths netting for the Millers.
