The crash has closed the A470
A ROAD traffic collision has closed the A470 in Powys in both directions.
Dyfed Powys Police said the road, one of the two main ones through the county, is closed between Brecon and Felinfach due to a collision, and the force is advising motorists travelling in the area to find an alternative route.
Traffic Wales says the accident has occurred between the Brynich roundabout on the outskirts of Brecon and Pen-isa'r-waen.
“The A470 between Brecon and Felinfach is currently closed due to a collision,” Dyfed Powys Police tweeted.
“If possible, please avoid the area and find an alternative route.”
