The wait is over for pizza lovers in Newtown after Domino's officially opened its new store, welcoming 30 new jobs to the area.
With ambitious plans to grow in mid Wales, the new store in New Road marks another major milestone for the pizza maker as it hits 1,200 stores throughout the UK.
Domino's is open seven-days-a-week from 11am to 11pm serving up firm favourites, including Pepperoni Passion and Vegi Supreme alongside new additions such as the recently launched Ultimate Spicy Sausage Pizza and The Festive One.
Vijay, store manager at Newtown Domino’s, said: "We’re excited to have opened the 1,200th UK Domino’s store in Newtown, allowing us to deliver our delicious menu of Domino’s classics to even more pizza lovers across the country.
“We’re also on the lookout for exceptional people to be part of our in-store team including drivers, in-store team members and cyclists.
"With four out of five store managers starting their career as a team member, these roles can also offer a great opportunity for ambitious people looking to grow and build a career with the nation’s best-loved pizza company.”

To celebrate, Domino's is offering customers an app exclusive 50 per cent off collection when they spend £10 until Thursday, February 2. Customers can collect in-store at Domino’s Newtown, Straight Lines House, New Road order online at www.dominos.co.uk, via the Domino’s app, or call the store on 01686 213111.
The company is advertising for staff looking to earn "some extra dough" in-store and as delivery drivers on evening and weekend shifts.
