A POWYS man has been fined following an incident in Llandrindod Wells.
Duncan Peter Woolard pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress to Phillip Smith on June 30, this year, when he appeared at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates' Court last Wednesday (December 14).
The 51-year-old, of Disserth, Builth Wells, was fined £300 and must pay £85 court costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
Woolard had denied an initial charge of assaulting Mr Smith by beating which was then withdrawn.
