Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been left impressed with the artistic talents of four Montgomeryshire school children who have been named the winner's of a Christmas card competition.
Montgomeryshire MS Russell George hand delivered the card to the Prime Minister during a weekend visit to Chequers after receiving many entries from local pupils for a competition to design his official Christmas card.
After a very difficult selection process, the competition was won by Dylan Pounds, Georgie Kendall-Evans, Isaac Griffiths and Lilly Cimadoro.
The Christmas card has also been sent to King Charles and the Queen Consort.
Russell George said: “This is the 12th year that I have run my Christmas card competition and the standard of entries was again very high indeed, and it was very difficult to pick just one winner.''
"The four winning pictures have been printed on the front of my cards and they have now been sent out to organisations and individuals across the county.
''I was also pleased to present the Christmas card to the Prime Minister who was impressed with the children's designs.'
''I'd like to say thanks to all the young people who took part and I wish everyone a happy Christmas''
