A POWYS eco-warrior who poured poo over a statue of Captain Tom has been back in court.
Madeleine Budd entered a guilty plea to one count of obstructing or disrupting a person engaged in lawful activity and admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge when she appeared before magistrates in Stratford, East London, in November.
The court heard the 21-year-old had trespassed on land belonging to Exolum Storage at Grays in Essex on April 10, climbing onto a structure at the site with the intention of obstructing or disrupting legal oil refinery work at the site.

She had been subject to a six-month conditional discharge order imposed by Highbury Magistrates Court on April 4 for a pitch invasion at the Emirates Football Stadium on March 16.
Budd, who is of Gladestry in Powys, was handed a six-week community order and curfew with electronic monitoring, and was ordered to pay costs of £105 and a £95 victim surcharge.
The activist had previously hit headlines after targetting a life-sized statue of World War Two veteran Captain Tom Moore in Thistley Meadow, Hatton, in an environmental protest in September.
The stunt, which saw her pouring human faeces over a statue of the late veteran, who raised millions for NHS charities during the coronavirus pandemic, in a protest against private jet use, caused outrage after it was filmed and shared on social media.
She was handed a 21-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, for that offence by a district judge in Westminster in October.
