An immersive light show is to return to a Llanidloes church following a three-year hiatus – and it's not to be missed.
Splinters of Heaven will be back for the first time since 2019 with its music and lights experience using St Idloes Church's stained glass windows
Using imagery from the church's stained glass windows, the interior of St Idloes will be lit from within by projected shards of light on Friday, December 9, from 4pm to 9.30pm.
Created by international light artist Andy McKeown, the church said it "so thrilled" to welcome him back to Llanidloes.

Sandra Jones, church warden, said "It was so so popular the last time Splinters of Heaven was here in Llanidloes. It had such an impact.
"We're so glad to have the opportunity to do it again this year. It's great for kids and grandparents - people can sit down or wander around. It's absolutely brilliant."
The church will be offering free entry, refreshments and there will be Christmas stalls on the night. Donations are welcome to help raise funds for Crisis, a charity for people experiencing homelessness.
