Mobile network provider 3 (Three) customers in the Newtown and Welshpool areas have reported outage issues with their internet and problems making phone calls.
Reports first began to appear on Is the Service Down? UK, a website that monitors real-time outages and problems, at around 5.20am today (Thursday) with a peak between 9am and 10am.
Hundreds of customers appear to be affected by the outage with 55 per cent of reports linked to internet connection issues and 22 per cent with making calls.
3 (Three) does not currently have any warnings about loss of service or mobile internet data connection via the website's Network status checker.
But the ThreeUKSupport account has responded to several customers saying that they are aware some are having trouble making calls.
Hello. We’re aware some customers were having difficulty making calls. Really sorry you’ve been affected by this. Our engineers have been working hard to fix it and the issues should be resolved now. If you try restarting your device again it should work again. -Anthony
