GEOFF Kellaway breathed new life into Penrhyncoch's JD Cymru North campaign with a 2-0 win at home to Llanidloes Town on Saturday.
The basement hosts were reduced to 10 men following the dismissal of goalkeeper Lewis James shortly after the hour.
However the 10 men defied the odds with Kellaway converting a 77th minute penalty before completing his double with seven minutes remaining.

Jake Cook proved Guilsfield's last action hero in a 2-1 win at Porthmadog.
Meilir Williams' 22nd minute strike separated the sides at the break but Guilsfield were back on terms with 25 minutes remaining with Iwan Matthew on target.
The match looked destined to end in a draw before Cook netted a last gasp winner to ensure the villagers returned home with maximum spoils.

Llandrindod Wells staged a fightback to claim a point in a 2-2 draw at home to Llanrhaeadr in the Ardal North East League on Saturday.
The basement side raced ahead with goals from William France and William Roberts-Morris before the Spamen were stirred with Jack Evans reducing the arrears from the penalty spot before Shaun Nicholls restored parity before the break.

Dale Evans held his nerve to net two penalties as Brecon Corries prevailed 2-1 winners at RTB Ebbw Vale in the Ardal South East League on Saturday.
Evans completed his haul to give the Powys side the lead before Tom Lynch reduced the arrears for the Gwent hosts late in the game.
