Montgomery Cricket Club held their annual dinner and presentation evening earlier in the month.
The club honoured its outstanding players of the season.
Aaron Ruff-Cock was named Clubman of Year while Rhys Jones won the second string’s Best Performance of the Season accolade.
Rob Bennett won the first team batting award and best per
Tom Corfield won the second team batting and bowling awards while Rob Bennett won the senior Best Performance of the Year prize with Ed Bennett going home with the bowling prize.

Alex Bromley won the first team Fielder of the Year award while Ryan Blayney went home with the reserve team prize.
Meanwhile Leighton Blagg was recognised with the Young Player of the Year shield.
The players joined club chairman John Barker and captain Andrew Barker in making the presentations.
The club will compete in the third division of the Mansfield Sports Group in 2023 following the confirmation of division compositions.
Meanwhile the club’s second string is expected to continue to compete in division six following their mid-table finish in the summer with league officials awaiting the application of aspiring new clubs before confirming the line up of the bottom two tiers for the 2023 season.
