It's been confirmed that a new Greggs bakery is set to open in a Powys town next week.
The popular bakery chain will be welcoming customers to its new outlet inside Machynlleth's Spar and Post Office from Thursday, December 1.
The Maengwyn Street shop has been temporarily closed for almost three weeks while major refurbishment work takes place.
New photos have been shared online of what the store looks like including new self-checkout tills. They also show the Greggs refit almost complete for Machynlleth customers who are in a hurry to buy their favourite bakes, sandwiches and desserts.

A special re-opening celebration will also take place inside the newly-refurbished store on Saturday, December 3, where customers will have the chance to win some "fantastic" prizes. The store told customers on social media that it has a "lot of exciting new features ready for you".
The new Greggs, the sixth branch to open in Powys, is looking for a "motivated, friendly and hands-on" bakery assistant to work at the store. A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd, which owns the Spar, is advertising the permanent part-time role on its website.
The popular takeaway sausage roll giant has a store in Welshpool, Llandrindod Wells, Station Road near Builth Wells, Doldowdod petrol station and two in Newtown.
