Festive sparkle will soon be across Llanidloes when the town's Christmas lights switch on returns.
Excitement is building for one of the highlights of the Llanidloes calendar which includes there will be market stalls and carol singers for all the family to enjoy.
The Mayor will turn on the lights at 6pm on Saturday, December 3, in Great Oak Street followed by a brass band quartet who will play carols as the town gears up for Christmas.
Father Christmas has confirmed that he will be joining the festive fun and children will be able to meet Santa in his Grotto from 6pm at the side of the Town Hall.

Christmas carols will be performed by the Wesley Singers from 5.30pm near the Christmas tree that has been kindly donated and erected by Llanidloes Rotary Club.
There's also some tasty festive treats available at the specially-extended Christmas market including mulled wine and minced pies
