BRENNAN Johnson has spoken of his love for Rhayader ahead of tonight's historic World Cup clash between Wales and USA in Qatar.
The Nottingham Forest striker forms part of the Dragons squad which will be representing Wales at their first World Cup since 1958.
Speaking to Players' Tribune Football he said: "My mum's mum and dad come from Rhayader in mid Wales. They are really proud Welsh people and it for that side of the family I get that part of personality.

Johnson said he had only ever dreamt of playing for Wales having first been spotted by scouts.
"The Football Association of Wales have scouts around the country who I met when I was 16 or 17 years old," said Johnson.
"I loved going away with Wales, it is a really tight knit group and the fans are like a community. They have treated me so well since I made my way in the senior team and it is very rare for a group, which does not play together as a club team, to have such a bond."
