A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he careered down an embankment following a road traffic accident.
The male was driving a red Ford Fiesta, which was the only vehicle involved in the incident, which happened on the A470 near Brecon on Sunday afternoon, November 20, and closed the road for several hours.
“Dyfed Powys Police attended a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the A470 near Storey Arms Brecon at about 1.15pm on Sunday,” said the force in a statement.
“A red Ford Fiesta left the road and travelled down an embankment. The male driver was taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries.
“The road was closed and fully reopened at about 9.50pm.”
