POWYS rescue teams were sent to a forest near Aberangell to assist in the ongoing rescue of an injured worker who was 'trapped for a number of hours'.
The Mountain Rescue team of Aberdyfi was called out yesterday, Friday, November 18,shortly after 2pm to attend an incident in the Dyfi Forest.
At the scene the police, ambulances, fire and rescue services, were all attending.
The air ambulance helicopter was also close-by.
A spokesman from Mountain Rescues Aberdyfi, said: "The Team was requested to assist in the ongoing rescue of an injured worker in the Dyfi Forest near Aberangell.
"The man had been trapped for a number of hours.
"The Team was requested to assist with transportation of the man from difficult terrain, but in the event was able to be recovered by existing resources at the scene."
The Mountain Rescue team was stood down at around 4:00 p.m.
