Electric Classic Cars was born out of Mr Morgan’s passion for classic cars having restored and raced them since the age of 17.

It’s this background, paired with over 20 years of working in the energy efficiency industry that inspired Richard’s first classic car conversion which then led to the origins of Electric Classic Cars.

Mr Morgan’s conversion projects have been featured on Guy Martin’s channel 4 programme, Speed, in which ECC assisted Guy to build an electric Beetle for his attempt at the world record for the fastest electric car and Mr Morgan's own Land Rover Defender has also featured on BBC’s Top Gear with Paddy McGuiness describing it as “the best fun I’ve had in any car, ever, on Top Gear”.
