A driver has been arrested after crashing an Audi into a hedge after travelling more than 100mph with three deflating tyres.
Police officers used a stinger to stop the silver car which crashed with the roundabout in Crossgates, near Llandrindod Wells on Tuesday evening (October 25).
Photos shared on Twitter show the aftermath of the crash which shows the Audi stuck in a hedge, a twisted roundabout sign and broken pieces from the car on the side of the road.
The driver has now been charged with various offences, police said, and is expected to appear in court after they were arrested by officers at the scene.
Police said they used the stinger at Fron, a kilometre north on the A483, but the silver car continued at high speed with deflating tyres and crashed into a hedge near the roundabout.
In a tweet posted on Wednesday evening, Powys Roads Policing said: "A driver failed to stop yesterday on the A483 near Crossgates
"Vehicle was stung in Fron. Driver has continued in excess of 100mph despite having three deflating tyres.
"Driver has collided with the roundabout. Driver charged to court for various offences."
