A 'LARGE amount' of lead has been recovered in Powys after it was stolen from a property which was undergoing repairs.
Dyfed-Powys Police, in collaboration with colleagues in West Mercia Police, found a vehicle after it was identified as having been involved in a series of thefts.
On Saturday October 1 Police received a report that a large amount of lead had been stolen from a property in Clun near Bishop's Castle, where the roof was being replaced.
After attending the scene Police identified a Ford Transit van from CCTV that was being driven suspiciously in the area.

The van, with a distinctive indigo-blue marking, had been previously been identified for suspicious activity in Churchstoke.
Dyfed-Powys Police were contacted and their enquiries led to the van being stopped and searched on suspicion of theft.
Inside the van were copper and pieces of lead, identical to those reported stolen in Clun - this led to the van being impounded by Police in Newtown and the offenders being arrested by Dyfed-Powys Police.
The stolen lead were recovered and has been returned to the elderly couple.
