A CASE of drug driving against a Newtown man has been adjourned to a new date to decide whether he will plead guilty or not guilty.
Welshpool Magistrates' Court was told on Tuesday, October 18, that Hinkley, of Skylark Way, was driving a Volkswagen Polo when he was stopped by police in Newtown on June 24.
He is alleged to have failed a roadside drug wipe, with a later reading reportedly showing he had 5.3 micrograms of cannabis in his system – the legal limit while driving is 2 micrograms.
Magistrates agreed to adjourn the case and Hinkley is due to appear next on November 15.
