BRECON Corries crashed out of the Ardal South League Cup with a 5-1 defeat at home to Ynysygerwn today.
Nathan Davies opened the scoring after seven minutes and the Neath side doubled their lead before the break with Daniel Lewis on target.
Craig Evans brought the Corries back into the tie with a reply on the hour only for Lewis to restore Ynysygerwn's two goal cushion six minutes later.
Lewis completed his hat-trick with 15 minutes remaining to seal his side's progress before James Newell added a fifth late on as the Powys side crashed out of the cup at the first hurdle.

Meanwhile St Harmon booked their place in the second round of the Montgomeryshire and Mid Wales League South Cup with a 3-1 win at home to Llanfechain today.
Adam Jones struck twice with Jacob Jones also netting for the Swifts while Rob Edwards reduced the arrears for the visitors.

Meanwhile Owen Aspinall struck twice as Llangedwyn eased to a 4-0 win at home to Felindre with James Broadbent and Richard Evans completing the scoring.
Elsewhere Craig Morris also netted a double as Newcastle hit back to prevail 3-1 winners at Trefonen.
Lee Morris fired the hosts into an interval lead before Tom Price struck to level and Morris ensured victory with a late double.

Meanwhile Builth Wells Reserves needed penalties to overcome Radnor Valley in the first round of the Emrys Morgan Cup today.
Callum Matthews struck with seven minutes remaining with the Goats looking set to advance before Blake Evans levelled to force penalties with the Bulls prevailing 4-3 winners.
Elsewhere Sam Norwood starred with a hat-trick as Llanfyllin Town Reserves prevailed 4-2 winners at home to Abermule Reserves in the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire League today.

Elsewhere honours ended even in a 2-2 draw between Churchstoke and Waterloo Rovers Reserves.
David Powell struck twice for the Marketmen with Adam Gough twice replying for the Welshpool side who ended with 10 men following the dismissal of Ugis Treimanis.
