THE Builth Wells branch of Cancer Research UK raised more than £500 when the committee organised a Harvest lunch on Friday, October 7, at Alpha Chapel.
There was home-made leek and potato soup, Welsh cakes and bara brith served to more than 40 people who attended.
The Builth Co-op kindly supported the event and thanks go to them and all who came along for a taste of home cooking.
Pictured are local committee members ready to serve the lunch, with Helen Tuite (far right), the member pioneer for Co-op in Builth.
