Charlotte Church has moved to set the record straight after claims about prices at her new wellness retreat
The new retreat called the Dreaming has been developed on the seven-bedroom property out Rhayader that was once owned by designer Laura Ashley.
Recent reports have claimed that the retreat was very expensive and that rooms cost £300 per night.
The singing superstar, said the claims were not correct and in a video on social media said:“Hi guys I just wanted to clarify some things about the dream which is the new retreat centre that I am opening mid Wales. The press, as usual, have terribly misinformed people by saying “Charlotte’s £300 a night retreat.”
“It’s true we have one room which is £320 a night but we also have a pay what you can space on every single retreat- that means if you can pay nothing per night, if you can afford £20 per night, you can still access the dream, you can still come to experience what it’s going to be like there.”

She also added that the price being quoted did not include all the extras that come with the booking.
“There are also rooms which are £150, all the prices are inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday and all of your activities there are no hidden charges,” said Ms Church.
“So, I really just wanted to put that across to people because as usual lots of journalists in the British press are misinforming people and they could actually do with some of the information so I just wanted to make sure that you knew that there are definitely affordable spots.”
