POLICE are looking for the driver of a vehicle who left the scene after they were involved in a road traffic collision.
Dyfed Powys Police said the incident happened in the early hours of this morning (October 3) and involved a red Seat Ibiza Sport, which overturned and crashed on the A44 near Llangurig.
The force said the driver of the car left the scene before police arrived and that a search is underway for them.
“Police were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at about 1am this morning, Monday October 3,” said a police spokesperson.
“A red Seat Ibiza sport had overturned on the A44 road between Llangurig and Ponterwyd.
“The driver of the vehicle had left the scene before police arrival and enquiries are ongoing to trace them. The road was closed and reopened at about 5.30am.”
