Airbus UK Broughton 4 Newtown 4
NEWTOWN snatched a last gasp leveller to snatch a point at bottom of the table Airbus UK Broughton tonight.
Matty Jones was the hero with his late strike salvaging a point in an eight goal thriller.
The Robins were dealt an early blow with Callum Roberts sustaining an early injury but gathered their composure and broke the deadlock after 12 minutes with Aaron Williams converting Zeli Ismael's right wing cross.
The home side were back in the game 10 minutes later with Owen Payne blasting home from the edge of the area.
Airbus were galvanised and led after 33 minutes with Jake Eyre squaring from the left for Steve Tomassen to net.
However the home side were also forced into first-half changes with Gareth Edwards and Craig Curran both replaced due to injury.
The frantic pace continued with Louis Robles denied by home goalkeeper Lewis Dutton before Newtown hit back deep into injury time with the in-form Williams nodding home from close range to restore parity.

The second-half was just as frenetic with Payne clearing off his line to deny Williams his hat-trick inside the opening few moments.
Newtown were indebted to goalkeeper Dave Jones who produced a fine save to deny George Peers after 52 minutes.
The Robins led four minutes later with Nick Rushton netting but before the Robins could build on their lead a Jake Phillips corner was converted by Mamudo Dabo to restore parity before the hour.
Airbus soon ascended the lead with ex-Newtown defender Phillips on target with a free-kick with 20 minutes remaining with the home side almost adding a fifth soon after only for Jones to once again deny Peers.
The match was in its final seconds when Jones saved Newtown a point with a free-kick as the Robins escaped the Airfield with a share of the spoils.
