HERE is a roundup of food hygiene ratings for venues across Powys following inspections in recent weeks.
The latest scores for restaurants, cafes and takeaways across the county have been published.
And they show a mixed bag for food premises in the county, with several given a clean bill of health – and others handed one-star ratings.
Here are all the ratings listed on the Powys Council site recently.
What do different food hygiene ratings mean?
There are six different ratings that a venue can be awarded from 0 to 5. Here's what the ratings mean:
5 - Hygiene standards are very good.
4 – Hygiene standards are good.
3 – Hygiene standards are generally satisfactory.
2 – Some improvement is necessary.
1 – Major improvement is necessary.

- Rated 5: Pentrenant Hall at Churchstoke, Montgomery, Powys, rated on August 30
- Rated 4: The Palace,Waterloo House, Llansantffraid, rated on August 5.
- Rated 3: Ginos Pizzaria at Ithondale, Park Crescent, Llandrindod Wells, Powys, rated on August 3
- Rated 1: Zeera Powys Limited at Temple Street, Llandrindod Wells, rated on August 3
Pubs, bars and nightclubs
- Rated 5: The Clarence at The Watton, Brecon, Powys; rated on August 24.
